2014 GMC Yukon, Several Updates And Other Details

You probably already know that an all-new GMC Yukon is on its way… but those hoping for the all-new model to be a 2014 will be disappointed, since the the re-designed and re-engineered SUV will actually be a 2015 model. As such, GMC is giving the 2014 Yukon a few changes for its last year on the GMT900 platform, which should hold things over unti the all-new 2015 Yukon arrives in 2014.

The changes, which are nearly identical to those seen on the 2014 Tahoe and 2014 Suburban, include the deletion of two colors along with the discontinuation of the Hybrid model (in the short-wheel-base Yukon) and the cancellation of the 3/4 ton model (in the long-wheel-base Yukon). In addition, the convenience package is also discontinued, resulting in the bundle of features such as remote vehicle start, backup camera and auto-dimming rearview mirror, power-adjustable pedals, rear park assist, and rear vision camera becoming standard equipment on all Yukon models, including the SLE trim level.
